Joe Royer snapped this photo of the Tunica Riverpark as he completed a mid-winter trip from Memphis to Tunica, Mississippi, a distance of about 40 miles.

In June of 2003, the river rose to its highest level in the last ten years or so: 38.2 feet on the Memphis gauge.  Joe Royer marked the occasion by taking this picture of the Memphis skyline from the middle of an Arkansas wheat field.
