This year marks the 5^th annual canoe race and also a move to the clear and cool Eleven Point River. We had a record number of participants and everyone seemed to enjoy the race. The weather was cloudy and breezy for the morning races, and sunny for the afternoon race and cookout.
     A special thanks goes out to Woody King and Ben and Donna Wadsworth for allowing us to start and finish the race on their property, and local wildlife officers Gary Cole and Matt Byrd for providing a safety boat. Cameron Priest did a great job with registration and time keeping, and Judy Rickey provided everyone with a great meal at the finish. Thanks again to all who came, and hope to see you next year!
